Air China Launches Direct Flights to India's Silicon Valley (Bangalore)

Air China Flight CA 425 took off from Chengdu Airport in Sichuan Province, has arrived in Bangalore International Airport early on the morning of Feb.28. It's the first direct flight linking Chengdu, a booming southwestern IT city to Bangalore, India's "Silicon Valley," Xinhua News Agency reported.

Chengdu Mayor Ge Honglin, together with a business delegation, as the first batch of passengers, flew to India to promote businesses and enhance communications.

Many Chinese enterprises have already began businesses in Bangalore, such as Dongfang Electric and Huawei; meanwhile, some big companies in India like Tata Consulting have invested in China
