Bank of Beijing Posts 39.2Pct Surge in Q1 Profit

Bank of Beijing, China's largest city commercial bank, said April 30 in its quarterly report that it gained net profits of 2.092 billion yuan for the first three months of 2010, up 39.2 percent year-on-year. The bank also achieved a historic breakthrough with a total asset of 565.2 billion yuan.
The company sees a non-performing loan balance of 2.389 billion yuan, down 14.56 percent comparing with that of the end of 2009, and a non-performing ratio of 0.82 percent, down 0.2 percent.
