China will implement strategies of boosting domestic demand, especially consumption demand vigorously over the next five years, building a mechanism with long-term effect while releasing consumption potential, Mr. Hu said when delivering a keynote speech in today's annual conference of Boao Forum For Asia 2011 in south China's scenic island Hainan.
China will also aim for more openness in new areas and spaces, and expand and deepen the convergence of interests with all parties, Mr. Hu said.
The strategy of going globally was also reiterated by the president, who promised to more heavily invest in Asia and new emerging markets, and increase financial aids to development countries in Asia at the same time.
On co-operations with global economies, Mr. Hu said China will continue being involve in global economic governance and regional co-operation, while pushing forward reforms of international financial system.
China will be opposed to any kinds of protectionism, and gear the global economic order to a fairer and more reasonable direction, Mr. Hu said.
