Wait a second here!!! You mean to tell me that the whole tipping system on this subreddit actually gives real donuts for good comments and posts? That completely blew my mind today. I was just checking my ledger this morning, not expecting anything new, and then I noticed under my ETH account there were some donuts. At first, I thought maybe it was some kind of glitch, but then I remembered seeing the donuts on this sub reddits users. That is such a cool and unique feature, and it honestly makes me appreciate this place even more.

It’s not a big stack, but it’s the thought that counts. The fact that this subreddit has created a way to reward people with actual value is amazing. Number go up is always fun, but I’m curious about how others actually use their donuts. Do you mostly hold them to build a stack, or do you actively tip them around to encourage good posts and discussions? I could honestly see myself starting to DCA into donuts just to participate more and grow my own bag.

Huge shoutout to whoever sent me the donuts, you made my day! Thanks to everyone here for making this such a fun and welcoming community. πŸ™Œ

I got my donuts and never realized! 🍩

    1. You get not only the tipped amount but also a fixed ratio per tip at every distribution end. Which is where most donuts come from.

Other than tipping I also provide liquidity to the donut eth pool on sushi. You get also more donuts rewards from that and help the community, if you are looking for a usecase. Moreover you could buy special membership which burns donuts and gives you an ntf and special perks in this sub.

      Welcome

I have no clue how this works. I have a few and it asks me to do some random thing to claim it and I can never figure it out and I thought I am pretty good at figuring things out lmao.

    3. Here’s the DONUT Wiki section

$DONUT is a SocialFi token, essentially tokenized karma, or proof of contribution. It also serves as a governance token for r/EthTrader and the DONUT DAO.

Users can tip quality content such as helpful information, creative memes, breaking news, and in addition to the tip itself, the DONUT DAO will crunch the numbers and airdrop DONUT to contributors about once a month.

Some users burn DONUT in order to run advertising campaigns on the sub.

Some users trade DONUT, as a way of making profit

Some users hold their DONUT and use their governance power to help shape the direction of the sub and the DONUT DAO operations.

      Welcome to EthTrader!

    4. On the main crypto sub, I got 10K moons back when they were worthless just by making memes. Later sold them for 2 ETH.
