Crazy story – bad install from prev owner caused tiles to fall and hurt wife

My house was remodeled before I purchased it in 2021. There were some parts that were done great and others, not so much. This morning a large marble tile fell in the shower and hit my wifes ankle causing a huge gash. Thought it hit the achilles but ended up not and being seven stitches. My handyman came over later and told me the tiles were the worst install he had ever seen (literally no spread on the plaster/butter)

Going to call my broker in the morning for advice, but where does this fall in insurance land? Bad install, medical, something else? I don't know if I should pursue or not.
