I'm starting my BA economics degree this year, however, my maths isn't that great. Although my course is a BA, we still learn data analytics, econometrics and other mathematical topics. I wanted to ask if there were any maths topics i could revise beforehand to prepare myself. (It may help to know that I am from, and am studying in England), so possibly some A level maths topics that may help to prepare me?Thanks!

How do I prepare for maths in my BA Economics degree?

    1. The most important math you should understand is calculus.
Many, many economic principles come from the idea of marginal cost, which is the derivative of the production function.
Exponential function also come in handy to calculate returns over time.

Other than that, not much advanced math is needed.
