I’m currently doing my bachelor’s in Economics in India and I plan to pursue higher studies abroad. I’m trying to decide whether an MA (Economics/related field) or an MBA would be a better option.
My main goal is to land a high-paying corporate job after graduation. I’m not looking to go into academia or research long-term, but I do enjoy subjects like economics, finance, and management.
For those who’ve studied or worked abroad:
- Which path (MA vs MBA) offers better career prospects and salaries?
- Does work experience before an MBA really make a big difference?
- Any particular countries/programs I should look into?
MA or MBA abroad after Economics undergrad?
