Do your best looking at other data. Look at prices and bankrupcies. Keep an eye on your own community and how busy it looks.

    2. You don’t have to wonder, it’s all in the history of the old failed USSR and its breakup in the late 1980s and ’90s. Perestroika was the final nail in the coffin of that regime because that policy required open access to real numbers as opposed to the government’s self protective ones.

Once the system breaks down, there are only two paths forward: democracy and authoritarianism. That will be the choice.

      Neither is set in granite.

we just went through 4 years of it under Biden. “Inflation is temporary so we don’t have to raise rates”. Massive borrowing and spending by the gov’t yet the fed cuts rates before the election. The main stream news media hates Trump. I recommend you look at your own numbers, and price a few items and track them. You can do online at Walmart for example.

    4. For a while, we’ll be able to listen to third-party sources, such as private universities. And reports from other countries.

But soon enough, they’ll cut off our access to any news sources that contradict their propaganda.
