European Union countries are looking to plug any remaining loopholes to ensure that Russian gas won’t be furtively mixed into the bloc’s supplies once a ban takes effect by the end of 2027. Changes proposed by Denmark would require importers to provide national authorities with evidence to prove that the gas hasn’t been produced in Russia, according to a document seen by Bloomberg. Oliver Crook reports.

    1. Close all the loopholes and create a big hole in your economy. I have another brilliant idea, put a price cap of 1 dollar/barrel for Russian oil. Only pathetic fools, full of dumb idiots, can think you can put price cap for someone else's products.

    2. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 2027? Also this is similar to the News leak that USA will stop Uranium imports from Russia that was floated a while back…. The west does this, they leak a fart of a information that just goes up in air but does not have any impact on actual trade!

    3. Does this mean that those EU countries are also "bad actors" all this time like what Scott Bessent recently said about what India and China for importing Russian oil are?
