I am validating the idea for a gourmet dog treat business. Tbh they’re unlike anything anyone has ever seen and I designed them for share-ability/social media aesthetics esp for dog moms. They have Wagyu meat in them and ahi tuna so fancy meats, and packaging is beautiful. Very simple ingredients and naturally colored so nothing artificial whatsoever.
I’ve been posting them on TikTok to start to garner awareness and receive mostly positive comments about how cute/pretty they are.
I’ve always told myself that the idea isn’t validated until I make a sale and actually get money in exchange for my product but want to know if these comments mean I’m kinda going in the right direction and there IS something there.
I don’t even have a dog but slay I’ll follow
My girl would love those! Do you currently sell them?
Those are dog treats??! What!?! That’s so cute 💗
I can’t find a link to purchase, they’re so cute my Gina girl would love this 💗
They look amazing! If you ever branch out to cats too just know us cat people are crazy about stuff like this 😂
My cat saw this, she’s not happy with me right now I gotta step it up
Where to buy and if you’re far do you ship?
Do these comments show strong product interest?

Can I ask an innocent question here but why those meats? The appreciation is in aesthetic and the wagyu has quite a high fat content which would be a concern for me as a pet owner. I get quality, but those qualities don’t equate within their world and just our silly practices in food obsession.
Edit: sorry, I also just realised I’m spending a lot already on pet food but the pet food I’m buying is advertised as healthy and complete diet with studies that show reduction in common issues my pets face, I’m not sure i would pay more for wagyu for John when I only eat that as a special night kind of thing or I’d look like DJ Khaled. I just think people want the best food, not the most expensive to know their pet is well looked after so you could probably save some cost there.
