Hot take: Split-levels will be in demand thanks to the modern retro trend

I know the humble split-level has its detractors, not always undeserved, but I've always liked this style (maybe because I grew up in one). Depending on the layout they can make very efficient use of space and the multiple levels give everyone in the family some separation without anyone being too far away from each other. With the modern retro trend so hot right now I think we're about to see a resurgence. Agree or disagree?
