My vehicle was involved in an accident where a woman backed into my car while it was parked in the parking lot of my work (I was at work, not in my vehicle). So no question about whose fault it was. My car is a 2020 with 15,000 miles on it and I am interested in filing a diminished value claim with their insurance. Why won't my insurance company (progressive) help me file this claim? I thought that was part of their job!
Who can help file diminished value auto claim?

How much was the repair cost ?
You can’t file a diminished value claim through your own company so that’s why they won’t help you. It is not part if their job. You filed a claim with another company and disagree with the value the other company is offering you, it has nothing to do with the coverages you pay for with your own company.
As an aside you have a very uphill battle getting diminished value on a 5 year old vehicle in most states.
What part of your policy contract says that is part of their job?
You’re not getting anything on a 5 year old car for a finder binder.
