Can some one help me figure this out. I get a credit card and I spend $700 but I cancel the card. What will the say/do to me I do know that you get in legal trouble so can some give me a full on
Possible trouble with IRS, you’ll get constant mail and emails telling you to pay up, phone calls as well, texts most likely as well, if one day they decide to take legal action (which they will probably) when they take the legal action they’ll demand the money you owe plus interest, which is a lot if a year has gone by

They’ll trash your credit (which won’t recover for 7 years) and send you to collections (which will trash your credit further in addition to get you harassed with letters, phone calls, texts, and emails for years seeking repayment – I still get letters about a debt from Verizon that’s 13 years old to give you an idea). You will almost certainly be unable to rent without huge deposits with a private owner for years, some jobs may deny you for employment or promotions based on your credit score, you can be denied new credit elsewhere, and your car insurance will most likely increase as well due to the poor credit.
For $700 I don’t see them suing you but it’s always a possibility.

They can sue you for not paying the credit card bill.
