Absolute beginner here – need help with the basics of Web3 (wallets, exchanges, etc.)

Hi everyone,

I’m completely new to Web3 and crypto, and before even thinking about investing, I want to make sure I understand the fundamentals.

Could you recommend resources or give me some beginner-friendly advice on things like:

• How to create and set up a crypto wallet (and the differences between hot wallets and cold wallets)
• How to safely fund a wallet for the first time
• How to use an exchange to buy/sell crypto
• Basic security practices to avoid scams or mistakes
• Any “must-know” concepts for someone who’s just starting out in this space

I’m not looking to rush into ICOs or trading — I just want to build a solid understanding of how the ecosystem works so I don’t get lost or make rookie mistakes.
