Isn’t this going to bankrupt Tesla? They lose the $7500 credit and regulatory credits next quarter. I’m surprised it isn’t mentioned in the article.

They are about to get destroyed by china. The entire car industry was bracing for the point where car battery technology catches up and leaves gas behind forever. Now American companies are going backwards right as new battery technology is right around the corner. China will take full advantage, and American companies will be illequipped to compete.

Midday downtown traffic in Chinese cities is eerily quiet due to the high proportion of EVs (Google says half of annual domestic production, but above 90% of the cars I see on the street). It’s a huge boost to quality of life.
