Is it possible to get early enrollment if I didn’t tick the early enrollment button when creating the checking account? To be honest I’m not sure if I ticked this but I created my Merrill investment accounts afterwards and now it’s funded enough for platinum honors tier. I’ve tried calling several reps from bofa (who transferred me like 7 times) and ML reps who escalated and said it’s not possible or there is no such thing as early enrollment

I had no success getting my account recognized early.
Also, BofA describes this as being calculated as the “3-month combined average daily balance” but it’s not the *daily balance*, it’s the 3-month average MONTHLY ? statement? balance.
Which is to say you could drop $10,000,000 in for 5 days, 10 days+ but it wouldn’t register you even for gold status unless those dates correspond to when it takes your monthly balance snapshot. Which means someone plopping in $100k may be waiting a good while before even gold posts. As far as I can tell that’s just how this works.
