So… Oracle just shocked everyone with that insane move today. The stock ripped 35%+ in a single session, its biggest one-day gain in decades.
Honestly didn’t expect Oracle to become one of the biggest AI winners of the year. If they keep stacking enterprise AI deals, this might not be a one-off. I didn't make any investment deployment on this before, so I missed the opportunity
I went to give a brief explanation, and it seems that the main reason is that we have obtained many new AI contracts, and the growth of our Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) business has far exceeded expectations; And Wall Street began to view Oracle as an "AI infrastructure stock" rather than a traditional database company. I'm not quite sure because it was told to me by AI, but I will go and learn more about it later.
Is this the beginning of Oracle 2.0 or a brief market trend similar to meme? Should I find an opportunity to buy?
Oracle just went parabolic up 35%+ in one session

little late on this one bub
I mean long term wise I think Oracle will be okay. But there are some concerns. Larry is in his 80s. How much longer can he remain being a pivotal player for the company.
Also I mean if Oracle can come into the cloud infrastructure business and actually sort of compete against the big 3. What’s stopping other tech companies from coming in and doing the same?
These two are my biggest concerns about Oracle imo.
Press releases and partnerships. Now they need to actually do something. Let’s see in a few quarters from now.
If you look at the slide of their projections 5 years from now it is honestly comical. Easiest [redacted] of my life.
It’s amazing how much OpenAI can move stock prices by promising to buy things which will require near record levels of capital raising to actually buy. The pile into Oracle assumes that there is 0% risk that OpenAI can’t obtain and spend $60B/year for the next 5 years.
It’s just talk. Nothing is different from last week. They went from overvalued to insanely overvalued
You guys are going to love this. Motley has been on the Oracle bandwagon for a bit (as have I, very happy shareholder):

Hmm, are TSLA or PLTR still en vogue as meme stocks with the new kid in town?
You used AI to write your post and you don’t understand why Oracle goes up? Ok then…
Oracle announced expected revenue of 317 billions over the next quarters then WSJ said OpenAI is responsible for 300 billions of those, how is this good ???openai generates 10billions in revenue btw
No, you can’t recreate a company like that. Those kinds of companies are full of low performers who have been with the company for ages; it’s a completely dysfunctional entity.
