Am I crazy or this subreddit is full of people trying to bait people into investing into shitty meme stocks during a bubble? Either they have no empathy or they're dumb as fuck, because they're downvoting people who are trying to prevent people from losing money.

    1. That’s reddit in a nutshell. Influence is everywhere and there are lots of people who don’t have the capability to figure it out for themselves.

    2. Its internet. No one should take financial advice here. Believe at your own risk.

If you need investment advice go to a professional. And even then, it’s your money your risk.

    3. I wouldn’t say bait. I think people feel like they know something because they heard it from someone else. So, they think they’re “helping” others make a quick buck. Then there are those who see a future scenario where their stock can go, and want to tell people about it. I don’t think they mean anything malicious. They’re just gambling and want other people at the table to celebrate if they win.

    4. Basically all of those posts just tell you which giant bags the OP is holding and imagining a reddit boost csn reverse their misfortunes on

I think largely they are downvoting things that they don’t want to hear. Basically, they are so weak-willed that they can’t stand someone disagreeing with them about their choices, and they hate to see other opinions because they are scared of what might happen if they are true.

It’s almost like making a dream board and just trying to will your stock picks to always go up, lol. They *want* it to go up, therefore it *must* go up.

    6. Every investment/stock page is an echo chamber of people shouting out what they have hoping to get more people to buy in and get a hype train started. The other option is they just simply want validation about their plays because they think that will somehow make them feel better or worse about their decision. For the most part people don’t give actual solid advice that they can back up with reasoning or research, they just simply spam 100x what they want to happen or think will happen.

    7. Other way around, people are claiming we’re in a recession when mega caps are reporting all time recording breaking profits. Trying to save their puts

    8. There’s another option you are missing. People are paid to post. Hourly. They’re paid to post dumbass questions like, “I’m new to investing and have been watching this dumbass stock like I know what the fuck I’m talking about or care.” Better yet, they ask “why is it going down?”. You are constantly being played here. That’s why inverse Reddit is a thing.

      I might be fake too.

    9. Don’t be silly, we’re not trying to convince you to buy meme stocks. We’re trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty. IT MAY EXPIRE SOON!!!

    10. I’m up about 20k in less than two months because of stock tips I picked up here…dunno if this bubble is gonna burst, but so far this sub’s advice has been good for me.

      Wins: ONDS RKLB AMPX NBIS

      Meh: DPRO

      Down: ASTS ENVX

Nowwwww wall street bets…that one’s been pretty useless and meme-y.

    11. I’ve tripled my money riding this bubble. The difference between this ‘bubble’ and the 2000 bubble is the companies now are making billions in profit. Back then only a few were profitable, the rest weren’t making shit.

    12. What? No, not at all.

But if you are looking to invest, the name of the company is Aerotyne International. It is a cutting edge high-tech firm out of the Midwest, awaiting imminent patent approval on the next generation of radar detectors that have both huge military and civilian applications.
