So why are you voting for the party that explicitly states in its party platform that big businesses must be empowered to disenfranchise Unions? Some critical thinking wouldn’t be amiss here.

      >Concentration of wealth and power has been built upon other people’s money, other people’s business, other people’s labor. Under this concentration, independent business has been a menace to American society.
It is one of the characteristics of a free and democratic nation that it have free and independent labor unions.

    2. Pew conducts a lot of great research but this is honestly not surprising despite contradictory voting patterns If you ask the majority of Americans about nearly any topic except maybe abortion and you’ll see pretty much the same result. The majority agree healthcare costs are too high, they agree school shootings are bad, education spending should be higher, corruption eliminated, taxes just and so on and so on Yet the American people consistently vote against their own interests almost exclusively out of fear of change, ignorance, and they are uniquely special.

    3. So everybody in here can ask themself why they are not in an union.

Here in Germany we might have a different system. That said I would recommend it to everybody who has a job. Unions have their issues, but investing about 1% of your sallary in an organization that works to improve your working conditions is very much worth it
