Some rich fuck(s) will probably buy it up for pennies on the dollar, some corporation will grow even larger to fill the void, same giant corpo who benefits will then raise prices because they can, and life will go on.

China pays the tariff, why isn’t China paying the truck drivers that voted for Trump? Cmon Ghina!

    3. A company won’t go bankrupt from 3 months of tariffs, this has been happening for a few years

    4. It’s “sudden shutoff” on what tariff?

Companies don’t just go under like that. It’s likely a long running business issue that the owner didn’t feel like it was a “good time” to release the news. The tariff disruption provided the excuse needed.

      Nothing was said about tariffs.

News reports say it was because of a failed sale to another company that fell through.

Terrible news, and the company obviously didn’t plan for the deal to fall apart.

In 2025 company earnings are showing strong growth with S&P 500 expected to grow 10.9% YoY, so to blame this on tariffs is disingenuous at best, and fake news at the least.

Trucking companies operate on leverage and extremely low margins. They need to be run well to survive.

    7. This is more than tariffs. This is because a private equity decide to exit and then the P&S deal falling thru
