I still regret selling Nvidia back in early 2023. I bought it around $150 and sold after a quick gain, thinking I was being smart locking in profits. Then AI hype kicked in and the stock just kept running.

It’s not even about the money anymore, it’s the reminder to zoom out and think long-term when the fundamentals are strong.

What stock do you regret selling too early?

ORCL. bought on the wednesday of the mad run post Q2 results. Saw it tank on Thursday morning session and sold in fear. It climbed super high after results.

Had 50% of port in meta and 50% in nvda, 2022, i bought meta at 90 and shortly after the jump when they laid off those workers that weekend, I got peer pressured into buying ffrhx. Missed out on half a million

    3. I had about 50k of Centrus (LEU) in an IRA. I started to DCA aggressively when I found that they were basically the only provider of low-enrichment uranium, which every modern reactor will need.

I started buying when it was $50ish. I changed brokerage firms earlier this year and didn’t do an in-kind transfer, so it sold at $110ish and I never rebought in the new IRA.

LEU closed at $365 on Friday.

But hey, I didn’t lose money, which is rule #1!

    4. Sold half my NVDA at $40 (split adjusted) – cost basis was $20. Thankfully I do still have the other half.

Sold all my OKLO at $27 – cost basis $7. Still a great play, but it sure does sting seeing it at $135. I keep calculating what it would be worth if I had held it.

    5. AMD at 100 I thought It will take i long time to go up(It did), and I sold at 120 when I could keep buying and got a 200%(I brought AMDL)

Honestly, for me it was too late, I was up 10k on Gamestop and held through the 600$ leap…
