The fact that I had to choose between tampons or gas in my car is insane. I’ll never understand why women’s hygiene products get hit by inflation. This is a necessity and should be affordable for everybody, especially for those of us living paycheck to paycheck.

Head over to Walmart or Target. The least‑expensive tampon brands in the U.S. are typically the store‑brand lines:
* **Equate** (Walmart’s generic brand) – often priced around **$5 – $6** for a 30‑pack of mixed absorbencies.
* **Up & Up** (Target’s generic brand) – similarly priced, usually **$5 – $6** for a comparable pack.
The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for tampon prices from 2023 to 2025 is:
CAGR=(6.807.45)21−1≈0.047or 4.7%

It’s because large amounts of us make decisions based on hopes and dreams rather than factual data.
To this day imo all voting should be based on economics of what has and hasnt worked.
Likely that’s somewhere down the middle of the political spectrum but because for some politics is a religious organization you can’t do that.
We need to start a new world.
Seriously. A cup is a one time $20 purchase and can last your entire menstrual life if you don’t mind the staining. Fuck tampons.
The gas goes in the car.
They should be affordable for everyone. I am not sure why living paycheck to paycheck should make them cost less. I think they should be cheap as heck for everyone.
You’re joking right?
