Did Over $100K of Services in Our 2nd Year

I'm really not even trying to look for a congratulations, but thought maybe some could be inspired by our story.

My partner and I were working full time as caregivers, doing pet sitting on the side. We had the same job, living with the family, taking care of their family member who needed 24 hours care. We were pet sitting on the side. Overnight, we lost our job and our home. We found ourselves living out of hotels, scraping by on pet sitting.

We decided to go legit. We got certified, formed an LLC, designed a brand on Canva, built a website, got better insurance… Some business cards and shirts and whatnot.

It was kind of a rough start, lots of $30 days… About six months in we started to gain some traction and probably had our first $5K months at that time. At the end of the first 12 months, we had done just under $50K in services.

We just ended our 2nd year, doing $103K+ in services. It's just the two of us right now. We're starting to average 10K/month, doing $12K+ sometimes.

Anyways, the things I think could crossover for other industries is…. we have a passion. We took this seriously. We made a plan, got certified, had a little start up money (like 3 or 4K)- and most importantly, we went to someone doing this on a very high level and we paid him to tell us exactly how to get started.

We prioritize our business over everything but our health. We are always early, never canceled. We get back to inquiries by the end of the night. People are happy to pay for that communication and reliability.

Just had our first $1,000+ Day (2 years in) Pet Sitting
