How long

I was in a bus accident just over a year ago which wasn’t the bus drivers fault, I put a claim in a couple of days after. I have had both my medical reports done months ago and have damaged a nerve in my neck from the impact. I haven’t heard much from my solicitor at all but was rang over a month ago to say the other party was denying responsibility to the crash and so was the bus company, but the bus company was able to claim from the other insurance. The other insurer finally claimed responsibility about a month and a half ago but I haven’t heard anything since. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I feel like I’m in the dark regarding this. Or would anyone have an estimate or rough time frame of how long this could take after they have finally took responsibility. Thanks
