car was deemed a total loss and is sitting at shop. The valuation came back as “dents and dings, etc” on every docket including interior. The vehicle was in near perfect condition at time of accident but was not detailed prior to being transported to the shop. I submitted recent photos showing the car detailed but they are saying that they cannot use them as it doesn’t represent the car in its current condition.
What can I do? The car is no longer in perfect condition as it was totaled, and that doesn’t seem to be coming across to the adjuster.

Do they have photos that show the condition? Usually they use those to take reductions. If your car was super dirty and has a lot of scuffs on the outside, that is taken into consideration. If the car was in the shape you state it was, I would ask to see what photos they’re using to determine the condition.
