When your kid starts driving, up your limits for whatever car they're driving.

    Whenever I handled claims with minors, 90% of the time they had state minimum, or just over. If it's a minor, who's more prone to be involved in an accident, the coverage should be higher, not lower.

    Yes, coverage is expensive, but so is the world around you.

    1. Up your liability coverage in general. Many times you can’t have different liability limits on cars on the same policy.
