Japan’s shipments to the U.S. continue to tumble despite trade deal — overall exports rebound

We all know that Trump put up a global trade barrier between the USA and the rest of the world. He did so with little regard for his constituents or markets as a whole. When every market is hit at once: prices stop reflecting real scarcity or value; producers stop innovating; consumers ration; people trade illegally at true market prices; economic efficiency collapses.
