What do you do? I'm not sure if I'll ever really enter the workforce, esp now as a mother. I've had a small business for going on 9yrs, but I'm really contemplating transitioning into something else come 2026…
How’s the small business going? Are you have an issue with scaling or managing things as they are?

I’m growing an SaaS (software engineer by trade). I am so over having to handle .everything. Mine are in their teens so can pick up a little slack – but it’s relentless and then there’s the having to cut short my working day because one (or both) needs a 6 hour trip to sports coaching. And no, I can’t pick up that 6 hours when they’ve gone to bed – because y’know – I want to sleep too.
I don’t think there is a “right path” in any of this. A few years ago I did go back to a traditional job and it was just as horrible time management wise – plus it’s frustrating as hell working with people without vision.
