Hey everyone,
I’m 18 years old and just graduated. I’m super driven, motivated, and coachable but I just don’t know how to actually get my foot in the door right now.
I’ve been studying sales a lot lately and really want to get into a setter position (qualifying leads, booking calls, etc.) for a remote company or influencer selling courses/mentorships for commissions . I’m confident I’d crush it once I get the chance, but I’m stuck on where to even start finding these opportunities.
I see a lot of people talking about “high ticket sales” or “closer/setter” jobs on YouTube and TikTok, but most of the links lead to courses or people selling mentorship. I’m not trying to buy anything I just want to actually work and learn the game through experience.
How do I find a commission based job as a Setter?

You have the energy and drive to succeed, so you will be successful once you get started. To start with you can network with people in industries that hire setters, such as real estate or home improvement companies. Try calling them up and getting a meeting, where you ask for more information (not ask for a job right away). Flatter people by asking for their opinions. Meeting in person is the best because they can see how good you are. You can also try to use online job boards like ZipRecruiter or Indeed using keywords like “commission based appointment setter.” Keep at it and you will be successful.
