Hey everyone,

I’ve been on a self-development and investing journey for a while now. I’ve watched almost every video and read countless posts about personal growth, finance, and budgeting. A common message I keep hearing is that “life starts to get easier once you make your first £10K.”

Well, I’m now over £20K invested but honestly, life doesn’t feel any easier. I’m still working a low-salary job that doesn’t inspire me, and I don’t feel like I have any strong or marketable skills yet. I’m 24 and starting to wonder where my life is heading.

For those of you who’ve passed this stage once you hit your first £10K (or more), what actually changed for you? Did new opportunities open up? Did your mindset shift in a real, tangible way? Or did things stay the same until you made bigger moves?

Really curious to hear from people who’ve been in this spot and moved forward from it.
