I have launched my company and I know some founders that have been pretty successful through SEO and generating content. I have started thinking about launching a blog to drive more traffic to the website.
My strategy currently is to consistently post 4-5 blogs a week targeting high-traffic keywords with low KD but that’s all I pretty much think of right now.
I was wondering if some of you here had been doing traffic acquisition through writing blog posts optimized for SEO, and if it worked for you or not?
Really interested in knowing more about your experience, what worked for you and what didn’t, if there were any tools you’ve used and if your strategy brought good results or not ?
Is writing blog posts still worth it to rank on Google and drive traffic to your website?

Blog posts are certainly still useful to achieve higher visibility, but more important than SEO is LLM SEO since many more people use AI now to search and will continue to do so.
Yes
Yes blog post still works. Focus should be on intent, value over volume and quality. Consistency and well optimized content supported by good distribution will drive strong and longer term traffic.
Yes, it’ll still work.
Short answer yes, but not the way most folks do it. Posting 4 to 5 times a week can work, but only if each post nails search intent and fits into a tight topic cluster. High traffic low KD is fine, just make sure the angle solves a clear problem and answers the next 2 or 3 follow up questions in the same cluster. Internal links, FAQs, and refreshing posts at 30 and 90 days move the needle more than raw volume.
Early on Google can take months. That’s where Pinterest helps. I’d validate topics there first, then write the post. Turn each post into a few fresh pins with the same core keyword theme and a clear promise in the title. Pinterest can send you qualified visitors faster, and those early clicks help you see which posts deserve more love.
