I don’t think it’s just about having a good product and marketing. Some people are just lucky.

    Context: I’ve built several projects over time. Some made a bit of money, others just faded away. I see similar products to mine doing great, that’s normal, right? I guess.

    the weird part is that I’ve helped people with their MVPs, given feedback, and somehow it works perfectly for them. I’ve even helped a few Shopify store owners, and a few came back just to thank me later because things started working.

    So what is this? Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to help, I’ve even earned some money doing it, but it’s crazy how well my suggestions work for others and not for me.

    Maybe my purpose really is to help others, because not everyone’s meant to build a successful company, but honestly, I don’t know anymore.

    I feel like I’m slipping, my advice works better for others than for me

    1. yeah mate, i get that. it’s tough seeing your ideas work for others but not for you. but that just proves you’ve got the skill and instinct for what works. sometimes it’s timing or luck, not ability. keep building and helping people, it’ll come together for you when the right thing clicks.

      luck = preparation + opportunity

      yeah I get that feeling man, sometimes it’s easier to see clearly from the outside than when it’s your own project, when you’re too close you second guess every move and overthink stuff that you’d spot instantly for someone else, doesn’t mean you’re not meant to build something, it just means you might need that same outside perspective for yourself, try treating your project like it’s someone else’s and follow your own advice step by step, you might be surprised how well it works when you remove the emotion
