have you people ever felt like this?

i've always been aware of the importance of learning as an entrepreneur and always been actively trying to learn

still, the last few weeks have been particularly challenging for me as I have gone blank and have literally no idea what I should learn. I usually learn based on what I am doing with my business but that's not gonna work in this scenario

just would like to hear out what are you people learning for business at this moment cuz i think that will inspire me and give me ideas on what to learn

    thankssss!

    1. Been there Sometimes it’s not about learning more tactics, just learning how to think better.
I usually dive into decision-making or psychology when I feel stuck always gives new clarity.

    2. You seem to ask this type of thing a lot. So the real question is what do you know already? Where are you in this journey of knowledge?

There are tons of free courses and things you can take online. Old business books are great resources and guides.

One of the most important skills to have is knowing how to learn.

      1. Find resources to review.
      2. Have an easy achievable goal.
      3. Map out a plan to achieve that goal.

      Repeat.

    3. What are the problems your customers are facing? What are you struggling with in the business? Knowledge is infinite. Learn what you need to. That is the only way to learn what is valuable.

You do have customer, right? Because if you don’t you’re not learning you’re procrastinating from selling.

    4. Yeah, I’ve been through that too. It feels like you hit a point where everything you’re learning seems repetitive or random. What helped me was shifting from thinking about “what should I learn?” to “what problem do I want to solve right now?”

Lately, I’ve been focusing on customer psychology and systems thinking. Those topics don’t get enough attention. Once you understand how people make decisions and how small processes link together, lots of business skills start to make sense again.

You might want to start with “tryna” learn how to communicate in a more professional manner.

    6. One of the most important things one can learn in building business is emotional resiliency, and right now you’re being tested on just that! Baby steps, and rest when you need to, but don’t quit!

    7. 1) It’s great that you recognize the need to keep learning. If there’s a problem your customers, your employees, or you are stuck in, those are great starting places!

      2) Join a group of people trying to do the same as you. While fishing for ideas from anonymous people on Reddit is great for brainstorming, finding a group of people that you can start seeing names and faces can also be valuable. I have a Slack group called Two One Four Business Community, just as one example.

      3) I saw a post from scottdclary on Facebook about how he knew a guy who read 200 books and was still poor but a guy who implemented one idea from a book and is a millionaire (or something to that effect). While I think the post is designed to be controversial, the point about implementing ideas vs. collecting information resonated strongly with me.

      4) I just finished the audiobook Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara to learn about customer service (and really, a lot about leadership) and am currently listening to Disrupted by Dan Lyons to learn about transitioning into the marketing world.

      Hope that helps!

I think it’s important to learn about things related to your business, but you can and should also learn about other things you’re interested about. I’m sure there are other things you’re curious about. Another thing that happens is if you only have your business in mind that can block other ideas from forming.

    9. I learn the most by trying, by doing.

Maybe you are a fast learner there, give it a try. Go practical, lower the theory if it isn’t working for you.

You can always go back to theory!

it happens to everyone who’s deep in the grind. When you’re building something, your brain’s juggling a hundred things at once, so it’s normal to hit a mental wall.

my suggestion is if you feel like learning get an accounting degree while working in a small business your interested in. thats what I did and now I keep my own books, get my own licenses, know wtf I am doing and am successful.

tbh I fear anybody going into business themselves without a business degree…. insane.
