I started an E-commerce website selling activities and tours on the island I live on in Hawaii about 3 years ago as a side hustle. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was in high school. Mostly re-selling. Some side hustles made money and some did not. Some just wasn’t worth the time. This side hustle finally paid off. I quit my full time job back in February 2025 and have made $113K in profits (net) so far in 2025. Hopping to hit $150k in profits by the end of the year with the Thanksgiving & Christmas rush.

Just wanted to say, if you’ve tried and failed, like I have multiple times. Don’t give up!

I’m hoping to expand my business to other islands in Hawaii and yes I’m definitely “scared” but you never know unless you give it a try.

Took the risk. Quit my job to do my side hustle full time!

    1. omg congrats on taking the leap!! i’m still doing small reselling stuff between classes and this is literally the dream. making 6 figures in your first year is insane.

    2. That is great! I would love to do something similar in my market. Less opportunity than HI for this but still possibly since we have a lot of tourism.

How did you go about it? Is it affiliated links? Or arbitrage?
