I quietly took a needle and thread to work today and sewed my blanket up. It was a good use of time when I had some downtime. I'm the "office dj" so I got to listen to chill music and just sew away.

And the end result is that I got to walk out warm and comfortable at the end of the day (it's winter where I am) and I don't need my hands to hold my blanket.

By the way, are infiny scarves back in?

I sewed my shoulder blanket into an infinity scarf to wear around my neck and I did it by hand at my desk at work.

    1. That actually sounds super smart. You saved fabric, got a cozy piece for winter, and used your downtime productively. Totally frugal move.

    2. That’s a really good idea. At first I was imagining the blanket like a cape but then I realized it’s more like a poncho. Sounds cozy and warm!

    3. I use crochet to get through zoom meetings at work. I keep a project handy because sometimes I just can’t keep my attention on the call and keeping my hands busy helps
