My wife’s elderly parents only use their mobile “in emergencies” so don’t want to pay for even a 30 day rolling contract. Back in the day you could preload a sim with credit and normally it wouldn’t expire for at least 12 months. Are deals like this still around? Struggling to find anything other than 30 day rolling. Any advice greatly appreciated. They are on a tight budget!

Giffgaff can have credit only. It’s a bit buried because it’s not their main selling point but it’s there.
I have Tesco mobile and when I don’t put a data pack on, it goes into pay per use mode.
Maybe just pay a no frills monthly for them like a fiver or whatever,Payback for being their pita all your life lol
