Accomplished the tie narrowing project

Follow up on the tie restyling post I made a week ago. Background: clearing out the closet and son requested if I make a few ties more narrow he’d adopt them.

Well I took out the back seam, did you know ties have a padding inside? I cut the padding to new width and used as a template instead of cutting any of the silk. Pressed the new width good and clean with the iron. Hand sewed the back seam.

Happy it worked. No machine stitching needed!
