Once again federal politicians choose to help corporations while hurting poorer Americans rather than helping both. Continuing the extended healthcare subsidies would prevent rural hospitals from being hurt by cutting the extended subsidies. But rather than continuing the subsidies to Americans, money is given directly to the hospitals without them providing the service to poor Americans who had been receiving the services.

    Anyone who thinks the federal government represents them isn't paying attention. No campaign finance reform, no joy.

    And it appears the funds will be distributed foolishly among states… It's terrible on top of terrible.
