After losing between 75-80% of my money (around my full year’s worth of salary) during 2022, I almost decided to quit, but I forced myself to stay in. Now after 3+ years since 2022 and nearly 6 years of being red, I learned the game and I’m finally green again. I know a friend of mine who cut their losses completely but I knew I had to do the opposite of him and thankfully I stayed these times.

Every year there’s one month after September that I go profitable too and then I just let it sit and watch it go back down so it comes back up the year after.

Now that you are green, the real advice is to keep the majority of your capital safe, protecting those gains with index funds. Keep a small percentage for your high-risk plays, because you still need that adrenaline. You have proven you understand the cost of failure.
