I'm a tenant at a place, my landlord sent my information along with the other tenants to the buyers agent. His agent showed up to my house for an appointment. I knew about it, we just cleaned up the house nuce for them. I came down and she started screaming and freaking out on her phone that there's someone living there. I told her I was renting that apartment, and I have a lease. She refused to believe me and called me a liar and a squatter. I tried to calmly talk to her and she was just screaming. After I contacted my landlord, she said stay inside and her agent is figuring it out right now. I stayed inside, and she was continuing to scream and curse her head off outside my window. I have a 3 year old son, he did not need to hear all that. Would she even have repercussions if I reported this? I'm in Pennsylvania

Is there any point in reporting this crazy lady?

Holy crap what a nightmare, definitely report her to her brokerage and maybe the state licensing board too since she’s clearly unhinged and shouldn’t be dealing with people’s homes

    2. I believe the only person you could report this too is police. Being crazy ain’t a crime so they would have just asked her to leave.

Is your landlord selling the building? I’m a bit confused about the scenario.

    3. This was a licensed realtor? You could file a complaint with the licensing board, sure. She’s not going to lose her license over it or anything. But having a complaint on your record is not good, so she might act more professionally in the future.

I’d send a letter to your landlord that that particular agent is no longer allowed in and the landlord needs to discus the matter with the agent’s broker to replace her as she has violated your “quiet enjoyment” of your home. That her reaction is unhinged, unprofessional and harassment. That if you are forced to deal with her again you will file a restraining order against the agent. This might not work, but as a tenant you can make your landlord’s sale very complicated and if they are smart they know that and will have the agent replaced. The broker can replace the agent and most likely will.

If the agent doesn’t then every time she shows up, especially if with clients you need to call her out for being an asshole and yelling at you and scaring your child. Tell her she is unprofessional and a piece of fucking shot to her face repeatedly in front of whomever she is showing the place to. Also stop cleaning before she shows up until she is replaced. Make her life hell for showing and make it very difficult for her to sell. Demand 48 hours notice for every showing. Be as big of an inconvenience as you can until she is replaced.
