I was looking for something that could apply to relevant roles on my behalf based on my resume, preferences, and career goals.
There are tools like lazyapply, but it's not as reliable as I would need it to be. Especially for Indian job market.
So I’m considering building a tool that automatically applies to jobs on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, etc., using resume + targeting information.
I have two questions:
- How do i test the demand?
(I tried running ads on linkedin, but it hasn't worked out well. However, I strongly believe that while there are some products in the market that solve similar problem, there is a need for something reliable.)
- Could there be any reason to build it first before testing the demand or identifying the channels where I can sell this?
Thinking about building an job application tool that optimizes your job applications and applies autmatically

demand is there and tools are there i was wanting to do the same thing a year ago but in the end i don’t want to spend pennies on strangers taking advantage of free service and overloading the paid service. and then i gotta be in an arms race with linkedin to get my bot to work around their anti bot tactics
