How I Stopped Trading Blind and Started Understanding the Market

A lot of people jump into trading spot or futures without really knowing what they’re doing, and I used to be the same, I thought watching charts and following hype was enough, but i realized it wasn't especially in a volatile market, a times I do not even understand why I am entering or exiting a trade, It always felt like i am just guessing.

When I first joined a trading championship on bitget, my results showed it clearly, because, I didn’t have a plan, i enter trades randomly, and i always reacts instead of thinking ahead, It didn’t take long before I messed up, glad i got something from it and i knew it was definitely a luck , and honestly, it was a wake up call, because that is what i did trading meme coins on chain too, i remember what happened with me when i first bought $kendu inu, at first i intended to sell it when i see profit, but while watching the cart something lead me to its social media handles and i realized how good its community are that is how i started holding it, instead of looking for a small profit or sell it at lost.

This week, things changed for me, because I decided to slow down and actually study what makes a trade worth taking, Spot trading helped me in learning patience because there’s less pressure, while futures reminded me how important discipline is, since one small mistake can wipe out a setup no matter how good its, I also started reviewing my past trades through GetAgent, which made me notice the mistakes I kept repeating, It didn’t guarantee me profitable signals, but it just helped me in understanding myself better.

Now with spot and futures combined I’m entering the new phase of the competition with more confidence, not because I expect to win instantly, but because I finally understand what is really affecting me and I realized that trading isn’t about catching every pump, It’s about having a system that you can follow even when the market gets crazy.
