Oil prices rise amid potential conflict between the US and Venezuela
CommSec’s Ryan Felsman claims oil prices were up amid potential conflict between America and Venezuela.
“We did see the oil price up 0.4 per cent to $US58.45 a barrel on that Venezuelan conflict potentially with the United States,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Also at the same time, gold prices were down 0.3 per cent to $US4,224.70.”
