I’m playing around and started to work on a chrome extension for myself, I want to increase my productivity, for now it’s an AI assistant in the browser that can see the page, can translate, summarize, correct, talk about data on the page and search within them, export data to Excel/CSV, and a layer that unchecks cookies and annoying ads, what would help you save time or what annoys you about browsing the web?

I love the concept. I can think of one thing in particular but it’s pretty niche. Finding quotes for research papers can be difficult, if the extension could highlight/pull the quote and pagenumber of a quote that best supports the topic/argument that’s input into the extension that could save a ton of time having to sort through pdfs & article files. Sort of an in-built ai ctrl+f for quotes & stats that support a topic or argument. It’s possible it exists already but that’s what comes to mind.
That sounds pretty solid actually, the cookie thing alone would save me like 10 minutes a day lol
What about something that auto-fills those annoying “sign up for our newsletter” popups with a temp email so they just go away? Those things are everywhere now
