Hello I have a real issue here, I created a blog where I used to post occasionally and I always would check my grammar, and clarity.
However, previously I would seldom re-read them after publishing them on the blog until a few weeks ago when I decided to post once a week.
And this is when I noticed my old blog posts were messy, unclear, and the formatting not correct and even the conclusion of the posts not 100% as I made them.
As this is the second blog I made because I closed the first one which was a membership due to issues with the website message, on this first one none of the blog posts had an issue.
So today, I decided to redo all of the posts on my new blog site using AI tools and I am super sad!!!
Because I spent years learning about tone and style of writing and being clear and concise and now I use AI!!!
And I worked for offices as an admin, secretary and receptionist so I spent days writing emails in English without any problem…
I am curious does anyone else feel that writing with AI is painful even if it seems the best thing to do?
Looking forward to your replies!

in honest truth, if you are going to write with AI Im not going to bother reading it,
Prompt it to keep your tone, just to check for grammar mistakes.
It’s what it’s best for, honestly. We can grieve because it’s changing how we work, or we can adapt and use it to improve our shit. Doesn’t have to change the way our products work, but it must improve mundane processes.
I went through this last year. Thought AI would speed things up. Instead I hated everything I published because it didn’t feel like *me.*
Ended up writing normally again and only using AI for formatting. Much happier now.
yeah i get that feeling, using ai to rewrite stuff can make it sound polished but it kills your voice a bit, readers connect more with small flaws than perfect sentences, if your posts had heart before keep that vibe and just use ai for cleanup not the full rewrite, otherwise it stops feeling like *you*
