My main spend will be on basic cards for all of 2026. Willing to forgo more points in certain categories for a less complex wallet.
Will cancel all high-fee cards except for my airline and hotel of choice.
Already feel better. But, I do apologize to other card holders, I am part of the problem, CC companies make a killing on people like me being caught in permanent credit confusion.
I am terrible at using credits, next year, going all easy (low fee) catch all cards.

This is why I stick with the trifecta. Easy.
The best credit card strategy is the one you can follow. Do what is best for you.
If you want a zero annual fee cash-back trifecta, consider Wells Fargo’s Active Cash, Autograph, and Attune cards. Just be mindful of WF’s one card every six months rule.
