I have an entrepreneur spirit however never got started! (Kids, life etc) now my youngest is starting school I want to start!..but I lack ideas.
I come from a marketing background however never really enjoyed sitting behind a computer all day long. I am more of a hands on dynamic thinker and do-a (the medicated adhd mum)
I am pretty darn good at organisation and cleaning however no real skill set for this just something I do for myself around my home.
I enjoy project management and have a passion for real estate (having renovated 2 homes now!)
There is something there for me, I just have to find it. And before you ask what my hobbies are..I am one of those sad people that dosent particularly have one!
…just give me your ideas that I can start small from my garage and get a foot in the field.

It sounds like you have some fantastic skills to leverage! Given your strengths in organization and project management, have you considered starting a home organization or detailed cleaning service? It’s a hands on way to work directly with clients and can gradually expand into project management for home renovations, helping others organize their homes or manage their property updates.
You could start small by offering services to friends or neighbors to build a portfolio and gather testimonials. This approach not only taps into your strengths but also allows you to test the waters without overly committing upfront. Plus, given your passion for real estate, you might find it enjoyable to help others enhance their spaces!
By the way, the most important thing I just said to you was this: allows you to test the waters without overly committing. I know what passion’s all about, but learning to reel that in to make sound decisions took a while to get good at. (medicated adhd dad)
Make sure you give business enough focus. If it is not some crafts sold on Etsy, you need a schedule to follow usually. With >1 kid little enough so that they need their mom in operations mode, business may happen to grow as an orphan 😉 I’m a serial entrepreneur and mom of 2 teenage boys. It is challenging in an unhealthy way, I must admit. There’s always a sacrifice involved
My biggest advice is do something boring and essential. Insurance brokerage, home staging, furniture flipping, dog walking / pet sitting, something with seniors, etc
For the most part passion is complete bs in building a successful business from nothing. At first you may feel passion but that will quickly fade as you understand all the work it’s going to take for you to get even halfway there. Learn how to suffer, be consistent and don’t let anyone dictate what you are/aren’t capable of. Successful entrepreneurs are forged, not printed.
