Is it just me, or are SOP manuals a massive time sink?

I’ve noticed many agencies lose hours daily digging through old pdfs and manuals. It seems like a huge drain on productivity. Does your team actually have a system where agents find info instantly, or is re explaining processes normal in this industry? Curious to hear how others are managing theirs and how time consuming it is for them.
