I’m currently evaluating the possibility of taking a position in Roblox Corporation (RBLX) and thought I could walk through my thought process. Over the last couple of dayss, I’ve taken the time to analyze the company data and attempt to determine if its current share price accurately reflects its underlying long-term value.
Fundamentally, the stock has been under a lot of pressure, and this presents a great point of entry in my opinion. The engagement and retention figures are great, and the user base is growing steadily. The company is currently operating at a loss; however, it seems likely that it will be able to harness the power of operating leverage to significantly improve margins as the monetization of the business increases. In my opinion, this is one of the main catalysts for the stock to unlock substantial upside in the next 3–5 years.
I also analyzed market sentiment and risk factors. The shares have been affected by some macro trends, such as high interest rates and underperformance in growth stocks, as well as doubts in the market concerning timelines for growth and profitability. A number of these risks are valid, such as volatility, regulatory risks, and competition, although I think they are underestimating the associated upside with revenue acceleration and margin expansion.
From a valuation and technical perspective, this stock is currently being priced below where its prospects for scalability and profit-driven growth exist. Based on a model outlook that factors revenue growth, monetization gains, and scalability, I personally feel this stock has the potential for outstanding gains if such trends continue. The market conditions are also conducive for steady accumulation, which suits my investment strategy.
In summary, my personal investment view is based on fundamentals, growth potential, operating leverage, market sentiment, and risk-adjusted valuations. Although there do exist potential risks on the negative side, I do believe in the potential for extended-term growth which currently is not factored in by the stock price. My strategy would be to gradually build positions, hold positions for 3–5 years, and keep a strict watch on important growth & profitability metrics.
This is my POV, I just wanna know what I am evaluating is based on facts or I have some prejudice for RBLX, or am I missing something ???

so alphabet long
Sounds good, I’ve been considering the same. Added some at 85.
The management has given really good “bookings guidance” for next quarter and year. The stock has been under pressure of late, cause they mentioned margin pressure for next year, due to heavy investments in safety for kids. I think it’s a good opportunity for long term compounding
