If you could guess what sector will trend for 2026?

Was reviewing the "what is your stock picks for 2026" people are suggesting space / aerospace stocks to trend but there's also talk about energy expansion.

Gold could also rally more, semis can continue to pump too.

    What are your thoughts?

    1. Nuclear. All the power that AI, car electrification and other such technologies need – you need nuclear to come back soon.

    2. Materials, power, cooling.

Need material to build data centers.

Need power to turn the data centers on

Need cooling to keep them from overheating

AI will continue. Cybersecurity will be as important as ever. Also, space and robotics.

    4. I thought robotics could become a trending topic. Sadly most of them are asian, so I doubt that this topic will be pushed in western media soon. Maybe 2026 will be a year of rebalancing. Never saw stocks of consumer staples that hard pummeled.

Tech will continue to be strong due to AI. Energy will have strong growth, fuelled by AI demand. Anything related to producing energy or transporting energy will have strong growth (think copper, uranium, oil, solar, rare earths).

    6. Nuclear energy on the large scale is 6 years out and that might be conservative. Energy sector is a bottle neck not just for AI. America’s infrastructure has been ignored for decades and is in desperate need of upgrades. Powerplants, transmission lines and towers, switchgear stations, natural gas pipelines, compressor stations. AI growth is leveling off. Data centers are being but they are useless without the energy to keep everything running. Everything we use in everyday life is needing more electricity.
